About Me and Review Policy

Hi, I’m Jaye. I read books. I also write books as J. V. Speyer. I don’t review my own books. That would be weird.

I started up a review site so I could get away with making time to read without feeling guilty. Now it’s “work!” In all seriousness, I do believe that reading in several genres is important for an author.

Most of what you’ll see reviewed here is romance. Some of it is not. You’ll also see fantasy, science fiction, and a bit of non-fiction here. Basically you’ll see what I like to read and what people give me to read.

You’ll also see other authors’ promo posts here. I like promoting other authors. If you are an author and you would like me to promote your work, contact me and we’ll see what we can work out. Priority is given to LGBTQ+ books / authors.

Review Policy

I like reading books. I like reviewing books. If you have a book you’d like me to review, contact me and we’ll see if we can work something out. The above genres are what I read most. As I mentioned above, priority is given to LGBTQ+ books/authors.

One caveat: I do not review mpreg. I’m not saying it shouldn’t be written, I’m saying that I cannot review it fairly.

If I find I cannot review your book, I’ll give you the option of a promo post instead.
